Adventure Education Center Spanish Institute's commitment to providing quality education and care for our students while studying abroad goes far beyond our company headquarters in Northern California. One of the many services that helps separate AEC Spanish Institute from the competition is our ability to provide housing and direct assistance for our students while studying in Costa Rica. Currently, there are no other language schools that offer such services.

Centrally located in downtown San Jose, just minutes from the city's most important bus terminal and within walking distance of numerous restaurants and stores, our home/office serves as a comfortable and affordable alternative to San Jose's more expensive hotels, apartotels and pensions. For those unfamiliar with traveling abroad, our home/office will help ease your transition into Costa Rica society. A bilingual staff will be there to assist you with any questions you may have regarding your Spanish study program or pertaining to travel within Costa Rica. In fact, we can even help you make reservations for many of the local tours.

For those seeking accommodation, our spacious home/office can accommodate a total of 15 people, and is available to all AEC Spanish Institute students. Serving as a home away from home, our facility comes complete with a full kitchen, washer/dryer, full time internet connection, and a spacious common room with cable TV, VCR and used book selection. In addition, there is a small patio outside where you can relax while absorbing the tropical suns rays. Our guest house is the perfect resting spot, where you'll have the opportunity to meet and converse with other students sharing similar experiences. Whether you are arriving, departing or just passing through San Jose, our guest house is always available providing space is available.

ROOMS
Private and shared accommodations are available. One room is equipped with a queen size bed, and the other rooms have singles beds and bunkbeds, depending on their size. Please see our photo gallery for pictures of the house and room details.
