Turrialba: Directions

For students using public transportation to get to our campus in Turrialba, we have provided this bus information below.

PUBLIC BUS
Buses from San Jose en route to Turrialba
Departure Location: between Avenidas 6 & 8, and calle 13, just in front of Mus-Mani, which is a local bakery. The bus stop is just minutes walking from the National Theater or Plaza de la Cultura in downtown San Jose.

Direct Buses: We highly recommend that you take direct buses rather than local buses, which stop throughout the trip and take much longer.
Depart Times: Direct buses depart every hour between 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday. *On Sundays, they depart from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Local Buses: Local buses, or colectivos as they are known stop more frequently
Depart Times: every hour on the half hour between 5:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m.
